> Antoine Henault is a french photographer based in Paris but always happy to discover an elsewhere.
From his childhood spent in the countryside, he claims a self-taught learning and a visual culture fed by the Internet, an education of the glance which is formed in the free circulation of the images. As a teenager, he discovered in particular the work of Saul Leiter, the color work of Jacques Henri Lartigue and the paintings of Edward Hopper.
His pictorial universe is built in answer to the nature where he grew up and which remains his main source of inspiration.
Graphic and sensory, his work celebrates the intimate connection between beings and their environment, a re-enchantment through contemplation.
He regularly collaborates with fashion, press and music, and was awarded by the Paolo Roversi Picto prize in 2022.
